BundleBoost terms of service and data processing terms

1. Agreement

These terms apply between BundleBoost ("we") and the Shopify merchant who installs the app ("you"). By installing or using the app you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

2. The service

BundleBoost shows quantity breaks, bundles and related offers on your product pages and applies the discounts at checkout through Shopify. Every feature is free for 3 days after the first install; after that a paid plan billed by Shopify is required to keep deals live. You can cancel at any time from the app; Shopify handles all charges.

3. Roles

For personal data of your customers and store visitors, you are the controller and we act as your processor. We process that data only on your documented instructions, which are given by installing the app and configuring it, and only to provide the service.

4. Data we process

Order summaries for in-app analytics (order number, date, totals, products and discounts) and anonymous widget statistics. We do not request or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses or payment details. Details are in the privacy policy.

5. Our obligations

We use the data only for the service and never sell it or use it for advertising; we honour visitors' consent choices from Shopify's Customer Privacy API; we keep the data encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest; we limit access to the people who operate the service; and we do not use the data for automated decisions about individuals.

6. Sub-processors

Shopify (platform and billing) and Fly.io (application hosting and database, EU region). We will update this page before adding another sub-processor.

7. Requests, deletion and incidents

We answer customer data requests and erasure requests that Shopify forwards to us through its privacy webhooks. When you uninstall, your data is deleted after Shopify's shop/redact request (48 hours later), except the store domain and trial start date. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

8. Liability and changes

The app is provided as is. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and material changes are announced in the app.
